MultiCare Health System is planning to build a medical center on the site of the current MultiCare Covington Clinic. The new MultiCare Covington Medical Center will provide South King County residents with comprehensive health care close to home.

In 1993, MultiCare became the first major health system to locate in Covington, with the construction of Covington MultiCare Clinic and Urgent Care the MultiCare Covington Clinic, a 100,000-square foot multispecialty outpatient center to meet the current and identified future health care needs of South King County residents.

The Covington clinic augments the MultiCare network of primary and specialty care clinics in Maple Valley, Kent, and Auburn. The MultiCare Covington Clinic includes an outpatient surgery center, complex imaging, urgent care, and various primary and specialty services.

Over the past sixteen years, MultiCare has continued to invest in new services and technology at the Covington clinic, including oncology services, a sleep center, and advanced diagnostics to meet the needs of South King County's growing population.

In keeping with our ongoing commitment, we opened a new 24,000 square foot Emergency Department in April 2011 and are planning to build the new MultiCare Covington Medical Center on the site of the current MultiCare Covington Clinic.
